John Michael Cooper of altf.com and the earth13 blog gave an amzing demo of how he achieves some of his dramatic lighting effects. It was quite an inspiring couple of hours out at the outdoor amphitheater in El Pedregal. Looks like I am going to be buying some little video lights and doing some experimenting.
